Stomach Ulcers - How To Natural Heal?

Stomach ulcers are pathological changes in the mucosa of this organ. They usually affect people over the age of 50, more often men than women; and usually only then do we start to become interested in this problem. Today we are going to tell you about some natural home remedies for stomach ulcers that can be useful for both prevention and treatment.

Stomach ulcers: what should we know about them?

In more serious cases, there may even be hemorrhages.

There are various causes of ulcers:

  • A bacterial infection, caused by the bacterium Helicobacter pylori, which enters the stomach through food.
  • Poor nutrition : especially eating large amounts of fatty food, sauces, spicy dishes, or eating in excess.
excess food
  • Excessive production of stomach acids. People with heartburn are more prone to ulcers.
  • Daily consumption of alcohol or smoking.
  • Taking certain medications: in particular, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, a wide range of painkillers (e.g. aspirin), as well as ibuprofen and cortisol.
  • Stress.
  • Hereditary factors: Having ulcers in other family members increases the risk.
  • Cancers.

If you suspect gastric ulcer, immediately consult a doctor who will be able to make a correct diagnosis using specialized methods. However, doctors, in addition to treatment, also give advice on how to prevent this problem from arising.

First of all, the most important are correct eating habits, reducing the consumption of coffee, tea, alcohol and smoking (nicotine hinders the proper healing of wounds). You should avoid taking medications that can irritate the stomach (do not take excess aspirin or ibuprofen) and reduce stress levels – organize leisure, take breaks at work, of course if possible.

Adequate diet

People who suffer from stomach ulcers or are exposed to them should remember which foods are most recommended for them:

  • Dairy products, especially milk (but not while you are healing ulcers)
  • Meat, fish and eggs prepared with a little fat and grilled.
  • Grains, vegetables and pasta with vegetables.
  • Vegetables, preferably mashed potatoes.
  • Very ripe fruit, non-acid fruit – fresh, baked, mashed or canned.

  • Fatty meats such as rabbit, canned fish, hard-boiled eggs.
  • Freshly baked bread, cookies with chocolate, sweets, whole grain products.
  • Boiled vegetables with bacon.
  • Vegetables that cause gas, such as cabbage, cauliflower or even onions, raw peppers, artichokes

Besides having both of the previous lists in mind, when it’s too late, you can use natural remedies for ulcers, and here are a few of them:

  • Eat green bananas; baked or boiled. They will help you restore the protective layer of the stomach walls, which protects it from the effects of gastric juices.
  • Eat wheat germ – they help to regenerate damage caused by gastric juices.
  • Peel and slice the carrots, blend it with one leaf of white cabbage and a glass of water. Strain the juice and drink it between meals.
  • 1 potato, 3 tomatoes and a cabbage leaf: Peel and slice the potato. Cut and remove the seeds from the 3 tomatoes. Wash the cabbage leaf. Put everything in a blender and add one glass of water. Strain the juice and drink it twice a day.
  • Mix half the eggplant with a pinch of salt and one tablespoon of sea algae (available at health food stores). Blend everything and drink half a glass, you can add water.
  • Boil a cup of water with 1 tablespoon of molasses and 1 chamomile for 5 minutes. Set aside, strain and serve. Drink in the evening before dinner.
